Hello from everyone at the Cardiff Masonic Hall. Many of you will know our Chefs well.
At this time of National lock-down, with so many self-isolating, we are sending our love and support at a time when we promise that you are not alone. With that in mind, we are launching the “Square Meals Initiative”.
This offer is open to all.
A simple ordering system that delivers quality, great tasting, nutritious meals directly to your door in a safe and supportive way.
We have spent some time getting ready to supply these to you. We have set a rolling two-week menu that we hope you will like. However, please do call us with any special dietary requirements you have. We will support you with this where possible. We do, very importantly need to know of any allergies you have. Rest assured your safety is our utmost priority.
Please remember though that the menus have been set up with an old-fashioned British wartime spirit meaning that the meals do not have alternative options. Each one is a set meal, produced en-mass to keep waste down and therefore cost, to you, to an absolute minimum.
Ideally, orders will cover a full week’s evening meals, however, if you want to try the service before committing to a full week then you can order as little as 1 or 2 days worth of meals.
Deliveries will be made 3 times a week – Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
The meals will be for that day and the days following up to the next delivery day.
Deliveries on Tuesday will cover Tuesday and Wednesday meals
Thursday delivery covers Thursday/ Friday meals
Saturday delivery covers Saturday/ Sunday/ Monday.
You will need to order by 2pm Friday for Tuesday and Thursday delivery and by 2pm Wednesday for Saturday delivery this is because there are restrictions with stock supply with the current situation.
From time to time we may have to change the menu due to problems with supply services but we will do our very best to keep as close as we can to the menu. Remember; please inform us as soon as you can of any allergies so we can make sure that we meet your needs when we need to change things.

Please provide the following:
Your Full Name, address (including postcode), telephone number and order quantity together with when you want your first delivery.
Make sure that you include any/all food allergies that you have so that we can make sure that these are catered for.
Once we have received your order and processed it, we will e-mail you an order confirmation and request that you make payment.
So what does this cost?
- One meal for one day £5.00, with pudding £6.00
- One meal per day for two days, £10.00, with pudding £12.00
- One meal per day for 1 week £35.00 including puddings.
Please ask us for costs for multiple meals for a day or more if you need to cater for more than 1 person in your household.
Payment is by Bank Transfer (BACS).
Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive a reference number to use on your bank payment. This will be unique to each order that you place.

Deliveries will be made by one of our team of volunteer drivers who are fully equipped with personal protective equipment for your safety. All deliveries are double bagged in the kitchens so that when they are delivered to you, the outer bag will be removed by the driver reducing any chance of contamination.
Our driver will then retire to a safe distance whilst they await you taking in the food so that they can check that you are OK and if there is anything else that you are in need of.
Meals are delivered in sealed plastic microwavable containers with clear instructions and information on each. Please read the labels carefully.
All main course meals can be frozen if you wish, but the deserts need to be refrigerated only. All meals, (both main courses and deserts) will last 48 hours from the moment of delivery in the fridge and all meals should be kept in the fridge if not being used immediately. Please ensure that you do not heat any meal more than once.
